Return Trip Planned for April 5th

In about one month, Mike Willis and I will be heading off to Sierra Leone to work among the new Christians in Freetown. While I am excite, I am also a bit over-whelmed by the enormity of the work that needs to be done. I pray that God will give Mike and I the strength, stamina and health to make the most of this trip.

Lord willing, we will arrive April 6th and begin an intensive session of classes for the men who are or are wanting to preach in the Freetown area. What started out as a small group of men has grown to over 20 men who want to participate in these classes. We will conduct these classes from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm each day and then hold a series of 4 night "Gospel Meetings" in 3 different congregations.

I got word from Bro. John Kargbo that 20 souls from Wellington were baptized yesterday. It is so encouraging to see the increase God is granting. Please pray for these babes in Christ.

Once again, I hope to use this blog to chronicle our trip in Sierra Leone. I pray you will follow our progress and mention our work in your prayers.
