The end of this month brothers Steve Niemeier, Jimmy Lee, Dan Barker and Dan Byers will leave for Freetown, Sierra Leone. They will conduct public lectures and classes for those who are or want to preach. They have a very ambitious work schedule and let us pray for their success.
In advance of their trip they have sent a series of video taped lessons that will air on the National TV station and sent throughout the entire country. In addition, radio interviews have been arranged in which they will be able to promote the public lectures. Many, many fliers have been provided which have been distributed throughout Freetown. These public lectures are receiving much more publicity which I pray will result in even larger crowds and conversions.
Dan and Dan will be in Freetown for two weeks and when they return home Steve & Jimmy will head up to the largest city in the northern portion of Sierra Leone, Makeni. At one time there was a church meeting in Makeni but it has died off. Efforts will be made to contact these folks as well as conduct public lectures. The mayor of Makeni has been very helpful in making arrangements for the public lectures. Much of the work in Makeni will be "fly by the seat of your pants" work and they have never been to Makeni, don't know what to expect and will have to determine topics as the week progresses.
Please join in praying for the success of their work and for their safety.
